COST: Individual donors, corporate sponsorships and the AMVETS organization will cover the vast majority of the symposium’s cost. For that reason, pre-registered attendees must only pay $30 if paid by Oct. 1. Registrations submitted after Oct. 2 will cost $50. There are two optional functions, the “Proud to be an American” Celebration Dinner Oct. 20 with performance by Lee Greenwood and “Taste of Chicago” Dine-Around Oct. 21. Each of those events cost $30.

Hotel Registration Information
The Veterans National Symposium is being held October 18–21, at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare (use special event code 26168 for the best rate), just five minutes from the Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The hotel is situated close to the Rapid Transit Train to downtown Chicago.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled 24 hours prior to date of arrival.

Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel Information
The Hyatt Regency O'Hare (use special event code 26168 for the best rate) offers complimentary airport shuttle service to and from the O' Hare International Airport at fifteen- to twenty-minute intervals, from 5 a.m. to midnight. The hotel shuttle will be at Ground Transportation outside of baggage claim. Call the hotel for pickup from the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area from midnight to 5 a.m.

The hotel has 1,100 recently-renovated guest rooms equipped with voice mail, wireless high-speed Internet, color cable TV, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and coffee makers. The hotel offers handicapped accessible and non-smoking rooms, which are based on availability. Please request these special accommodations when making your reservation. Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and health club. The Hyatt Regency O'Hare is offering a special reduced self-parking rate of $10 per car per night. Valet parking is currently $28 for overnight guests with in/out privileges. Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out time is noon. Twenty restaurants and shops are within walking distance of the hotel.
