Country music star Darryl Worley’s hits, "I Miss My Friend," "A Good Day to Run" and "Have You Forgotten," have propelled him to the top of the charts, making him an instantly-recognizable beacon of patriotism. He has played for men and women of the Armed Forces on many different stages, including entertaining troops in Afganistan during Christmas 2002. When Worley returned, he overheard a conversation about the Global War on Terror, and it quickly drove him to write the all-popular song, "Have You Forgotten." In early 2003, it topped the country charts and brought him an Academy of Country Music Top New Male Vocalist award nomination.
